High School Select

Major Force Lacrosse High School Select is for current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade girl’s lacrosse players nationwide who are looking to advance their skills with the potential desire to play at the collegiate level. The Select membership is an a la carte program with basic tournament participation that offers players the flexibility as to which training sessions, camps, tournaments and other events they wish to participate in.

Commitment

The Select membership includes 2 summer tournaments and 2 fall events.  This can be a mixed year of graduation team.

What's Included

Approximately 15 hours of training. All optional tournaments are an additional cost, and the player can “register and pay” to participate in any elite tournament subject to availability and the player’s eligibility. Full recruiting services at no additional fee.

High School Select 2024 Fall Training Details

Fall of 2024 trainings will be held at the following locations:

  • Northeast Ohio (Cleveland) TBA
  • Central Ohio (Columbus) TBA
  • Southern Ohio (Cincinnati) players at Blue Ash Parks facility
  • Indianapolis, Indiana players at Grand Park Sports Campus, Westfield, IN
  • Atlanta Georgia players Franklin Gateway sports complex, Marietta, GA

High School Select 2025 Tournament Details

  • Includes two summer tournaments and two fall, mixed year of graduation team on a first come, first serve with encouraged early registration
  • All Elite tournaments are available through “register and pay” off waitlist and will be based on availability

Where applicable, all players are responsible for their own transportation to and from all events along with any required lodging. 

High School Select Camp Details

  • Select players must “register and pay” for all camps
  • Tier One -Will host three blocks of time leading into our tournament play for the elite levels of play designated for team practices
    • Location TBD based on events and team year of graduation
    • A series of (2) 2-3 hour training sessions held the day before the tournaments we participate in
  • Dog Days of Summer
    • Held in Indiana Sunday, August 4, 2024 and In Georgia, September 8th, 2024
    • One-day event with training and game play.  Formal day of tryouts for any on boarding new and returning members for the following season

All training sessions, camps, tournaments, and other events are subject to change due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Major Force Lacrosse and as such, Major Force Lacrosse will not be liable for any compensation reimbursement due to any changes etc.

Additional Information

  • There are NO REFUNDS for any membership deposits or payments made on payment plans regardless of the circumstances. In addition, any payment plan unpaid balance is due in full to MFL within 30 days of the overdue payment. If necessary, MFL will use a third-party agency to collect all monies due to MFL.
  • All players are highly encouraged to consider purchasing the online insurance during the time of registration. This insurance policy is through a third-party company with no relationship to MFL.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is expected of an Select player?

Players interested in joining MFL for the 2025 season can tryout for team placement at either of the Dog Days.  Additional opportunities to tryout will be available at any of the open clinics which will be held in the Fall at the various locations listed on the MFL website until all the Elite teams are full. Other players who wish to join MFL as an Elite member will be contacted based on their tryouts and will be given the opportunity to join on a “first come, first serve” basis subject to the number of Elite team slots available.  All returning Elite players must register and make the initial deposit for the 2025 season starting August 26th, 2024.

Do players need to tryout for Select?

The Select program is the path for the player who needs complete flexibility in their schedule.

Are Select players able to participate in other sports or lacrosse clubs?

Yes, players are welcome to participate in other sports or lacrosse clubs. However, players must be committed and rostered to play for Major Force Lacrosse only at any tournament where both club teams are participating. Otherwise there is complete flexibility for this level of membership.
